PCT PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

You may recall that back in May, the Conservancy received a 10,000acre viewshed easement protecting the views on the forthcoming Pacific Crest Trail realignment. If you forgot, you can read more about it here. Basically, it's big news for the PCT and for Tejon Ranch Conservancy. The trail will meet its original proposed alignment and the Conservancy now holds over 100,000acres in conservation easements on Tejon Ranch.

In association with this achievement, we announced a photography contest. Whoever submitted the most compelling image (as determined by our panel of Conservancy staff, volunteers, and Pacific Crest Trail Association staff) of the PCT south of Whitney and north of the Angeles Crest would win a tour of the new easement on Tejon Ranch. We are pleased to announce that our panel has made its decision and the winners are:

1st place
  Dan Potter- Antelope Valley, Ca
Burnt Peak near Shake Canyon

2nd place
  Dick Gase- Tucson, Az
P104252

3rd Place
  Ben Ulsh

Many thanks to everyone who submitted photos! The competition was definitely fierce.
